Russia "wants to fool everyone" by ceasing fire in Donbas during Volker's Ukraine visit – MFA
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine says the Russian Federation is trying to fool everyone by ceasing fire in Donbas during the visit of U.S. State Department Special Representative Kurt Volker to Ukraine, according to press secretary of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Mariana Betsa.
"No ceasefire violations in Donbas on 23.01 while K.Volker is in Ukraine. Every step in Donbas is controlled by Ru, who wants to fool everyone," Betsa wrote on Twitter.

On January 23, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker in Kyiv. The parties discussed the deployment of UN peacekeepers in Donbas, the release of Ukrainian hostages, as well as the recently adopted law on the reintegration of the occupied areas.
On January 26, Volker plans to meet with Russian presidential aide Vladislav Surkov in Dubai. The sides will discuss the state of the conflict in the east of Ukraine, the prospects for the introduction and a possible format of the peacekeeping mission.
