Ukraine in PACE to raise issue of illegitimacy of Russian elections in Crimea
First Deputy Chairperson of the Verkhovna Rada Iryna Gerashchenko has said the Ukrainian delegation during the next sessions of PACE and NATO plans to raise the issue of the illegitimacy of holding Russian presidential elections in the occupied Crimea.
"On the eve of the Russian presidential elections, a forcible passportization of Ukrainian citizens is taking place in the occupied peninsula in order to force them to vote in illegitimate elections. It is impossible to elect the president of Russia in the Ukrainian territory," she said.
