The Russian government has expanded the list of Ukrainian citizens against whom special economic measures are being introduced, which includes Ukrainian top officials, Members of Parliament, businessmen, etc.

The list includes former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko, Ukrainian rock star Svyatoslav Vakarchuk (former leader of the Holos (Voice) Party), Chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine Mykhailo Volynets, advisor to the First Deputy Prime Minister Stepan Kubiv, and Member of Parliament Kira Rudyk.

In addition, Russia slapped sanctions on Ukrainian businessman Serhiy Taruta, ex-Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko's wife Iryna Lutsenko, as well as Ukrainian MPs, namely Rustem Umerov, Sofia Fedyna, Sofia Fedina, Akhtem Chiygoz, etc.

In total, the list includes 41 people.
