U.S. Deputy Secretary of State Stephen E. Biegun will visit Kyiv, Vilnius and Moscow next week, the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv says.

"Deputy Secretary Biegun will travel to Vienna, Austria, August 27 to meet with counterparts at the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) to discuss issues related to regional security and human rights," it added.

On August 22, Reuters reported, citing sources, that "Biegun was expected to leave in the coming days for Moscow and the Lithuanian capital Vilnius" to hold talks on the situation in Belarus.
