"The perpetrator, in particular, organized the "daily duty" at the illegal militants' checkpoints that were located in Druzhkivka. He also provided armed guards at the so-called 'polling stations' during pseudo-elections in the temporarily occupied territory of Donbas," the press center of the SBU Security Service of Ukraine said in a statement on October 13.

It is noted that after the release of Druzhkivka by the ATO forces, the man for a long time was hiding from the Ukrainian law enforcers.

The SBU employees detained the militant at his relatives' place of residence in one of the settlements in Donetsk region. The detainee is served with charge papers for committing a crime under Part 1 of Article 258-3 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. An investigation is under way.
