A signal of an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) was recorded near the military arsenal in Kirovohrad region on Monday, according to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"Yesterday, November 12, a signal of an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle was recorded by means of electronic warfare near one of the military arsenals in Kirovohrad region," the press service wrote on Facebook.

The General Staff noted the command of the military unit had immediately boosted security measures at the site and inspected the technical area for any alien objects.

The SBU Security Service of Ukraine and the National Police in Kirovohrad region have been notified.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on the night of October 9, a series of explosions caused a massive fire at the ammo depot near Ichnya, Chernihiv region. More than 12,500 people were evacuated in the area and a no-fly zone was established.

The fire was fully put out only on October 24.
