Ukraine's Central Election Commission (CEC) has approved election budgets under which UAH 2.354 billion, or US$85.56 million, will be spent on the presidential vote in Ukraine.

Of the amount, UAH 266 million, or US$9.67 million, will be spent on the Central Election Commission, and the remaining amount on local election commissions, the CEC said, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

Also, the CEC approved the budget of parliamentary elections, having allocated UAH 1.949 billion, or US$70.85 million.

In addition, UAH 223.539 million, or US$8.12 million, will be spent on the State Voter Register in 2019.

UNIAN memo. The next presidential elections in Ukraine will be held March 31, 2019. The presidential race started on December 31, 2018. The next parliamentary elections are scheduled for the end of October 2019.
