Former heavyweight world champion Wladimir Klitschko has hinted he may soon return to boxing.
"Although, I didn't win the titles on April 29th 2017, for me, it was one of my best days in my long boxing career (so far). Thanks @anthonyfjoshua for being the perfect opponent and part of my obsession to become a champion again!" he wrote on Twitter on April 29, 2019.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Wladimir Klitschko was knocked out in the 11th round by Britain's Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium on April 29, 2017. Later in August 2017, he retired from boxing.
In the spring of 2019, the DAZN streaming company made a business proposal to the Ukrainian, promising him $80 million for three fights.
