Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko on Friday, May 10, introduced a new prosecutor in Dnipropetrovsk region, Roman Tokar.

The ceremony took place during an ad hoc meeting of regional prosecutors chaired by Lutsenko, the press service of the prosecutor's office in Dnipropetrovsk region said.

The former prosecutor, Viktor Matviichuk, was elected to the High Council of Justice.

Prior to the appointment, Tokar had worked for almost 20 years in the investigative agencies of the prosecutor's office, holding different positions: from an assistant prosecutor in one of the districts in the city of Dnipro to a deputy prosecutor in the region.
