Ukraine's confirmed coronavirus cases increase to 47 on March 21

Ukraine's Health Ministry says 47 laboratory-confirmed cases of the new COVID-19 coronavirus were registered in Ukraine as of 21:00 Kyiv time on March 21.

"As of 21:00 on March 21, there were 47 laboratory confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine, including three lethal. One patient recovered and was already discharged from the hospital," the ministry wrote on its Telegram channel on March 21.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers on March 11 decided to introduce quarantine across Ukraine from March 12 to April 3.

As of the morning of March 21, some 41 confirmed cases of the novel COVID-19 coronavirus was reported in Ukraine, including three lethal.
