Number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine rises to 1,096 by Saturday morning

The number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine had risen to 1,096 by Saturday morning.

"As of 10:00 Kyiv time on April 4, there were 1,096 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine, including 28 deaths, while 23 patients have recovered and been discharged from hospital," Ukraine's Health Ministry said on Telegram.

A total of 154 new cases have been recorded over the past day.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus in Ukraine had risen to 1,072 by Friday evening.
