Poroshenko: Donbas election to take place "when Russians stop killing Ukrainians"

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko says local elections in Donbas will take place only when Russian troops leave Ukraine territory.

"[It will happen] when Russians stop killing Ukrainians, as soon as the Russian occupation forces are withdrawn from Ukrainian territory," he said at a briefing after talks amid the Warsaw NATO Summit on Saturday, answering a question from Russian journalists of Russia's propagandist Rossiya TV Channel about when the local election in Donbas could be held.
