Russia's VKontakte closes office in Kyiv

Russia's VKontakte social network has closed its office in Kyiv due to the sanctions imposed by Ukraine, according to the Hromadske media outlet.

"All employees were offered to continue working in VKontakte or Mail.Ru Group. Of course, everyone will decide for himself whether there is such an opportunity," press secretary of the Ukrainian branch of Vkontakte Vlad Legotkin said.
