The number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases registered in the Armed Forces of Ukraine rose by two as of the morning of July 20.

"As of 10:00 Kyiv time on July 20, some 140 people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine had acute respiratory illness COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. In total, 518 people have recovered and five have died during the pandemic," the press service of the Medical Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on Facebook on July 19. "Two new COVID-19 cases were registered in the past 24 hours."

Some 295 servicemen are now isolated (including self-isolation).

As UNIAN reported earlier, 651 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 59,493 as of the morning of July 20.
