Ukraine recognized as country with high rate of COVID-19 spread
The Ukrainian Health Ministry says Ukraine has been included into the list of countries with high rates of the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
"Ukraine was included in the list of countries with high rates of COVID-19 spread," the ministry said on its Telegram channel Coronavirus_info on June 27.
The list also includes Albania, Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Armenia, Northern Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Kosovo, Moldova, and Sweden.
At the same time, the ministry urged Ukrainian citizens to comply with its recommendations, monitor personal hygiene and keep in mind that quarantine is still in effect since the number of COVID-19 cases in the country may reach a critical level.
As UNIAN reported earlier, there were 42,065 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine as of 09:00 Kyiv time on June 27. They included 1,110 deaths and 18,701 recoveries. Some 948 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.
