The number of COVID-19 coronavirus cases registered in the Armed Forces of Ukraine rose by 14 as of the morning of June 5.

"As of 10:00 Kyiv time on June 5, some 142 people in the Armed Forces of Ukraine have acute respiratory illness COVID-19 caused by the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. In total, 131 people recovered and four died during the pandemic," the press service of the Medical Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote on Facebook on June 5.

Seven new patients had been hospitalized, while the rest were self-isolating, undergoing treatment at home under the supervision of doctors. Currently, their state of health is satisfactory and they have no symptoms of the disease.

Some 567 servicemen are now isolated (including self-isolation). The number of those whose isolation term is expiring in the next three days is 67 people.

As UNIAN reported earlier, there were 25,964 laboratory-confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Ukraine as of 09:00 Kyiv time on June 5, including 762 COVID-19 deaths and 11,372 recoveries. Some 553 new cases were recorded in the past 24 hours.
