Ukraine said 1,616 new COVID-19 cases had been reported across the country in the past 24 hours as of August 18, 2020.
The total number of confirmed cases grew to 94,436, as reported by the Health Ministry via Telegram.
As many as 48,925 patients, including 761 in the past day, have recovered, as seen on the interactive map compiled by the National Security and Defense Council.
The pandemic has taken 2,116 lives with 27 fatalities recorded over the past day.
