Ukraine's Health Ministry forecasts that after the coronavirus-related quarantine is over, Ukrainians will have to use personal protective equipment, including face masks, for long.

"The realities of life now are such that we will use basic means of protection for a rather long time," Health Minister Maksym Stepanov said during an online conference.

They include face masks, as well as social distancing, he said.

According to him, there was no sharp decrease in the incidence of coronavirus infection in Ukraine.

"We're within the same range – from 350 to 550 cases every day," he said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the total number of confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine as of Sunday morning was 20,986, including 406 in the past 24 hours. The number of active cases was 13,261. The overall death toll stood at 617.
