Some 823 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine in the past day, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 48,500 as of the morning of July 5.
The death toll in Ukraine now is 1,249 people, including 22 who died in the past 24 hours, according to the interactive map of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council.

As many as 21,376 patients, including 221 in the past day, have already recovered.
There are 93,709 suspected COVID-19 cases in Ukraine now, the NSDC said.
The largest number of new cases was registered in Lviv, Chernivtsi and Rivne regions, and the capital city of Kyiv.
As UNIAN reported earlier, some 914 new cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19 were reported in Ukraine on July 4, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 47,677.
