One Ukrainian soldier has been killed in action, another four have been wounded in action in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, since the beginning of Monday, February 19.

"In total, since the beginning of the day, the enemy has mounted nine shelling attacks; as a result of the aggressor's fire, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, one serviceman was wounded, one more defender received a combat-related injury. In addition, two more Ukrainian soldiers were injured in a blast of an unknown explosive device amid a combat mission," the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters said on Facebook in an update as of 18:00 of Monday, February 19.

In particular, the enemy used 82mm mortars to shell Ukrainian positions not far from the village of Krymske in the Luhansk sector. Grenade launchers of various types and large-caliber machine guns were used to fire at Ukrainian positions near the village of Hladosove, Novoluhanske and the town of Svitlodarsk.

Ukrainian positions near the village of Pisky in the Donetsk sector came under fire from 82mm mortars, grenade launchers and machine guns. The enemy also resorted to 120mm and 82mm mortars outside the villages of Lebedynske, Vodiane, and Shyrokyne.
