During the exercises, the Ukrainian assault company will use seven BTR-80 amphibious armored personnel carriers, and tank crews will carry out tasks, using five T-84 tanks," he wrote on Facebook.

The Combined Resolve X drills are held at the 7th Army Training Command's Grafenwoehr Training Area in southeastern Germany on April 9-May 12, 2018.

Combined Resolve is a U.S. Army Europe exercise designed to give the rotational combat brigades a graded culminating event before they return to the U.S. While focusing on building readiness for all participants in a joint, multinational environment, this year's exercise will also serve as the assessment exercise for the U.S. Army's future concepts and capabilities.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Russian occupation forces began military drills in Crimea with the use of coastal defense missile systems.
