"According to preliminary data, one person was wounded as a result of the shelling, while a residential house caught on fire. Rescue teams and paramedics are now working at the scene. The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine was briefed on the incident," Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Staff said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Russian-led militants used proscribed weapons to attack the Ukrainian strongholds nine times over the past day, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.
The Ukrainian military suppressed the enemy fire, as appropriate. The aggressor employed banned mortars, artillery, and tanks to attack the Ukrainian strong points.
