"A 36-year-old resident of Maryinka died as a result of the militant attack on the town. Head of the Maryinka District State Administration Volodymyr Moroz told me that Mikhail, a local resident, went to his yard on the outskirts of Maryinka, when militants opened fire from small arms. One bullet hit the man. Paramedics, who arrived at the scene, ascertained death. However, they did not have time to take the body, as the militants intensified the fire and the paramedics had to drive to a safe distance," Zhebrivsky wrote on Facebook on May 21.
According to Moroz, the occupiers have not stopped shelling the town.
As was earlier reported, on May 19, the militants fired 120mm mortars on residential buildings in the village of Zaitseve from the settlement of Holmivskyi. A house was damaged as a result of the shelling.
