"In the daytime, the situation escalated in the Mariupol sector. The defenders of the village of Vodiane came under intensive enemy fire from 122mm and 152mm artillery. The invaders also actively used mortars of various calibers, automatic grenade launchers, and small arms. During the hostilities, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded," the report says.

The militants also fired 122mm artillery and 82mm mortars banned by the Minsk accords on Ukrainian defenders stationed near the villages of Hnutove and Bohdanivka, as well as employed tanks to attack the Ukrainian strong points near the village of Lebedynske.

Ukrainian members to the Joint Center for Ceasefire Coordination (JCCC) earlier reported that Russian-backed militants, in spite of the Minsk accords, continued to amass heavy equipment and weapons outside the storage area, breaking the distance of their withdrawal.
