Over the past day, August 31, Russian-occupation forces opened fire 11 times on the positions of the Joint Forces. At the same time, the enemy did not use weapons banned by the Minsk agreements, the JFO press service reports.

The militants opened aimed fire from grenade launchers of various types, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms, the report says.

"Russian-occupation forces fired on the positions of the Joint Forces in the areas of Krymske, Yuzhne, Maryinka, Starohnativka, Pavlopil, Hnutove, Lebedynske, and Vodiane," reads the report.

It is noted that there have been no losses among the Ukrainian military.

According to intelligence reports, one militant was killed and two more were wounded.

"Today, the enemy fired four times on our positions in the area of Troyitske, Yuzhne, Vodiane and Shyrokyne from grenade launchers, heavy machine guns, and small arms," the JFO Staff said.

 As UNIAN reported earlier, on August 31, a Kremlin puppet "DPR leader" Alexander Zakharchenko was killed in a blast in one of cafes in the center of the militant-held Donetsk.
