Acting "head" of the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" ("DPR") Denis Pushilin has resigned as "deputy" of the so-called "People's Council of the DPR."

Pushilin also fulfilled the duties of the self-styled "parliament" chairman, the Ukrainian news outlet Novosti Donbassa has reported.

The so-called press service of the "parliament" said a new "chairman" would be elected at the next meeting.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the so-called "People's Council of the Donetsk People's Republic" on Friday appointed Denis Pushilin acting head of the unrecognized "DPR." Moreover, it was announced the elections in the so-called "Donetsk People's Republic" ("DPR") and "Luhansk People's Republic" ("LPR") would be held on November 11.
