Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in action in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on Tuesday, December 11.

"Two members of the Joint Forces have been wounded amid hostilities," the press service of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said on Facebook in an evening update.

In total, Russia's hybrid military forces mounted 10 attacks on the Ukrainian army from 00:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time on December 11, it said.

In particular, the enemy opened fire from 82mm mortars on Ukrainian troops stationed near the village of Opytne in the Donetsk sector.

The Russian invaders also used grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns and small arms to attack Ukrainian positions near the villages of Zaitseve near the Russian-occupied town of Horlivka in Donetsk region. They also shelled Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka, as well as the villages of Nevelske, Slavne and Pivnichne in the Donetsk sector and the village of Chermalyk in the Mariupol sector.

The situation is under control, the JFO headquarters said.
