Russia's hybrid military forces mounted four attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas on January 7, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA).
"Russian occupation forces violated the ceasefire in Donbas four times from 00:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time… As a result, one serviceman of the Joint Forces was wounded," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an update on Facebook as of 18:00 Kyiv time on Monday.
"The positions of the Ukrainian troops came under fire from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms near the Vilnyi village in the Luhansk sector, outside the village of Luhanske close to the town of Svitlodarsk, near the village of Berezove in the Donetsk sector, and in the area of Pavlopil in the Mariupol sector," the report said.
Ukrainian military continue monitoring the enemy along the contact line, while adhering to the terms for a complete ceasefire.
The situation in the Joint Forces Operation zone remains under control of the Ukrainian troops, the press center wrote.
