The Ukrainian military captured a member of the Russian occupation forces near the town of Svitlodarsk in Donetsk region on Sunday, February 17.

"An enemy subversion and reconnaissance group attempted to attack our positions in the area of defense of one of the battalions in the Svitlodarsk direction on February 17," the Ukrainian Joint Forces (JFO) press service said on Facebook. "Well-organized observation by Ukrainian defenders let them expose the enemy's plans in advance."

The attack has been repulsed, an enemy troop has been captured.

He is being questioned by JFO members.

As was reported, Russia-led forces mounted six attacks on the Ukrainian army's positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, from 00:00 to 18:00 Kyiv time on Sunday, February 17; proscribed weapons were used in five instances.
