Russia's hybrid military forces in the past 24 hours mounted 14 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action, and another two as wounded in action.

"Russian proxy forces 14 times attacked Ukrainian positions, including seven times using arms proscribed by the Minsk Agreements. The enemy launched a total of sixty four 120mm and 82mm mortar rounds," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update published on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on April 13, 2019.

Russian occupation forces opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems, heavy machine guns and small arms to attack Ukrainian defenders of the town of Avdiyivka, as well the villages of Hnutove, Opytne, Novoselivka Druha, Chermalyk, Verkhniotoretske, Lebedynske, Pyshchevyk, Novozvanivka, Troyitske, and Zaitseve.

No enemy shelling was left without an adequate response on the part of Joint Forces, the press center said.

According to intelligence reports, two invaders were killed and another three were wounded.

The Ukrainian Joint Forces also destroyed the BMP-1 infantry fighting vehicle of the Russian proxy forces.

From day-start on Saturday, no attacks were recorded on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Trilateral Contact Group (TCG) at Minsk peace talks on Donbas is preparing to announce a ceasefire on the occasion of Easter holidays.
