Russia-led forces on April 13 mounted six attacks on the Ukrainian army's positions in Donbas, including once with the use of weapons proscribed by the Minsk agreements.

"Russian-occupation forces also fired at positions of JF units using grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine guns, and small arms," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an evening update on Saturday.

In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] Operational-Tactical Grouping, militants fired at the strongpoints of the Ukrainian troops from 82mm mortars near the village of Novotroyitske; from antitank missile system, automatic grenade launchers, and small arms (twice) – outside Avdiyivka; from grenade launches of various systems – near the village of Pavlopil; and from hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers near the village of Pisky.

There have been no casualties among Ukrainian troops from the start of the day.

"To hostile provocations, JF units gave an adequate response. The enemy's losses are being clarified," the press service said.

The situation in the area of the Joint Forces Operation remains under control of Ukrainian troops, the report said.
