Russia's hybrid military forces mounted two attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas on May 22, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
"Since Wednesday midnight, the enemy has violated the ceasefire twice. In both cases, Russian occupation forces fired at positions of Joint Forces units using grenade launchers of various systems," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) said in an evening update on Wednesday.
In the zone of responsibility of the Skhid [East] Operational-Tactical Grouping, militants fired at the strongpoints of the Ukrainian troops from automatic grenade launchers near the town of Maryinka.
In the Pivnich (North) sector, Russia-led forces shelled the defenders of the town of Popasna, using grenade launchers of various systems.
