Russia's hybrid military forces on Friday mounted 26 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as killed in action (KIA) and another three as wounded in action (WIA).

"Two Ukrainian servicemen were killed, another three were wounded in action. Each enemy attack saw an adequate response," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on July 20, 2019.

According to intelligence reports, two occupiers were wounded.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces used weapons that are not banned under the Minsk agreements.

Russian occupation forces opened fire from proscribed 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine guns, and sniper and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka, Krasnohorivka, Avdiyivka, and Schastia, and the villages of Shyrokyne, Bohdanivka, Talakivka, Taramchuk, Hnutove, Novotroyitske, Berezove, Chermalyk, Vodiane, Novohnativka, Pyshchevyk, Krymske, Pivdenne, Novoluhanske, and Luhanske.

"From Saturday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions five times near Schastia, and the villages of Hranitne, Lebedynske, and Nyzhnioteple, using 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and rifles. There were no Ukrainian military casualties [on Saturday]," the report said.
