Ukraine reports six enemy attacks in Donbas warzone on Aug 4
Russia's hybrid military forces on August 4 mounted six attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"Proscribed weapons – 82mm mortars – were used in one instance," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 5, 2019.
Enemy forces also opened fire from a heavy machine gun and rifles.
Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the villages of Verkhniotoretske, Pisky, Lebedynske, and Vodiane.
"The Ukrainian Army reported no casualties in the past day," the JFO HQ said.
"From Monday midnight, Russia-led forces have twice opened fire on Ukrainian positions near the villages of Vodiane and Pivdenne, using small arms," the report said.
Ukraine's Joint Forces say they reliably control the enemy along the contact line, while adhering to the ceasefire, the JFO HQ reported.
