On Aug 5, Russian occupation forces in Donbas twice violated the "harvest ceasefire" earlier agreed upon by the Trilateral Contact Group in Minsk.

A Ukrainian soldier was injured in an IED blast, according to the Joint Forces Operation HQ.

"JF units have maintained a stable ceasefire throughout the past 24 hours. Meanwhile, the enemy twice violated the ban on the use of weapons. Russian occupation forces and their mercenaries fired at the positions of the Ukrainian units from small arms," says the report posted on Facebook.

In the area of ​​responsibility of the Skhid [East] tactical group, the enemy fired at the positions of the Joint Forces near Vodiane. In the zone of the Pivnich [North] tactical group, the positions of Ukrainian defenders near Pivdenne also came under fire.

It is also noted that on August 4, three people were detained and handed over to law enforcers on suspicion of participation in the Russian armed groups and its mercenary units. Also, 38 persons were denied access across the demarcation line.
