Armed formations of the Russian Federation and Russian mercenaries mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, on Saturday, August 10, using proscribed weapons.

"The enemy was shelling our units' positions, using 82mm mortars, which are banned under the Minsk agreements, as well as grenade launchers of various systems, large-caliber machine-guns, and rifles," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on August 11.

The JFO HQ also reported about casualties: one Ukrainian guardsman was killed in action, another Ukrainian soldier, a member of the Joint Forces, was wounded in action.

No enemy attacks on Ukrainian positions have been reported since Sunday midnight.

Enemy troops regularly violate the "harvest" ceasefire, which began on 00:01 local time on July 21, 2019.
