Russia's hybrid military forces on Sunday mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the [recently introduced] ceasefire 13 times on August 18," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 19, 2019.
The enemy opened fire from cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various systems, and small arms. Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the villages of Pyshchevyk, Vodiane, Lebedynske, Talakivka, Pavlopil, Pisky, Novoluhanske, and Luhanske.
According to the update, there were no casualties among the Ukrainian military in the past day.
From Monday midnight, Russia-led forces attacked Ukrainian positions twice near the villages of Novotroyitske and Vodiane, using grenade launchers of various systems and small arms.
