One Ukrainian soldier wounded amid 11 enemy attacks in Donbas on Aug 19
Russia's hybrid military forces on August 19 mounted 11 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 11 times on August 19. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded near the village of Pavlopil as a result of enemy shelling from an unmanned aerial vehicle equipped with a grenade launcher (VOG-25)," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 20.
The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms to attack Ukrainian positions near the town of Svitlodarsk, and the villages of Novotroyitske, Vodiane, Talakivka, Pavlopil, Lebedynske, and Opytne.
"From Tuesday midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions once near Talakivka, using an automatic grenade launcher," the report said.
