Russia's hybrid military forces on August 20 mounted seven attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire seven times on August 20. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 21.
The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various types and small arms to attack Ukrainian positions near the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Talakivka, Starohnativka, Bohdanivka, Hnutove, Pivdenne, and Luhanske.
"From Wednesday midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions twice near the villages of Novomykhailivka and Vodiane, using grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms," the report said.
