Two Ukrainian soldiers wounded amid 13 enemy attacks in Donbas on Aug 22
Russia's hybrid military forces on August 22 mounted 13 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded in action.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 13 times on August 22. Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on August 23.
The enemy opened fire from grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and sniper and small arms. Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the villages of Vodiane, Novotroyitske, Bohdanivka, Lebedynske, Novoluhanske, Zaitseve, and Pivdenne.
Since Friday midnight, Russian-led forces haven't attacked Ukrainian positions yet.
