Russia's hybrid military forces on September 13 mounted 22 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with eight Ukrainian soldiers reported as sustained injuries of moderate severity.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 22 times on September 13. Eight Ukrainian soldiers were wounded as a result of enemy shelling," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on Saturday, September 14.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 120 mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, an anti-tank missile system, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka and Avdiyivka, and the villages of Talakivka, Opytne, Verkhniotoretske, Vodiane, Pyshchevyk, Zaitseve, Mayorsk, Novhorodske, Novoluhanske, and Khutir Vilniy.

In addition, the enemy used several unmanned aerial vehicles near the village of Hnutove, including one with a suspension device, for dropping grenade launcher shots.

"Since midnight, Russia-led forces have opened fire on Ukrainian positions once near Novoluhanske, using 120mm mortars," the report said.
