OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajčák has welcomed the opening of the pedestrian bypass bridge in the village of Stanytsia Luhanska in Donbas.

"I welcome the opening of the pedestrian bypass bridge in Stanytsia Luhanska. It's a major step in the right direction and will ease the lives of thousands of locals. Let's now focus on repairing the bridge itself before winter starts," he wrote on Twitter on October 4, 2019.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a temporary bypass bridge was opened in the village of Stanytsia Luhanska in Luhansk region, eastern Ukraine, on October 4, which a link between Russia-occupied Donbas with the rest of Ukraine.
