On Sunday, October 6, road workers were also installing columns on the highway from the checkpoint to the bridge to separate the pedestrian part of the road and the bus lane. The dismantling of the destroyed part of the bridge across the Siversky Donets River is under way, the report said.

As UNIAN reported earlier, a temporary bypass bridge was opened in the village of Stanytsia Luhanska in Luhansk region, eastern Ukraine, on October 4, which is a link between Russia-occupied Donbas with the rest of Ukraine. At the same time, the structures of the main bridge are being dismantled. The Ukrainian President's Office plans to open it before November 27.
