Ukraine reports 12 enemy attacks in Donbas warzone since Friday midnight
Russian-led forces have mounted 12 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas since Friday midnight.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries have violated the ceasefire 12 times since the beginning of the current day, October 18," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in an evening update posted on Facebook.
The enemy opened fire from proscribed 82mm mortars, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, and small arms.
Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Avdiyivka and Zolote, and the villages of Vodiane, Talakivka, Luhanske, Novoluhanske, Novotoshkivske, and Troyitske.
According to the update, there have been no casualties among the Ukrainian military since Friday midnight.
