Russia's hybrid military forces on November 8 mounted 11 attacks on Ukrainian Army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation and its mercenaries violated the ceasefire 11 times on November 8. One Ukrainian soldier was wounded as a result of enemy shelling. In addition, another Ukrainian soldier wounded the day before died in the hospital," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on November 9.

The enemy opened fire from cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the town of Zolote, and the villages of Vodiane, Lebedynske, Hnutove, Orikhove, Luhanske, Zalizne, Zaitseve, Pivdenne, and Krymske.

Since Saturday midnight, Russian-led forces have been observing the ceasefire.
