Fighting for Maryinka goes on, new ATO forces sent to back up

The Ukrainian military reports that the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) forces continue to maintain their positions, morale remains high.

Fighting between the Ukrainian forces and Russian-backed militants is still under way in the town of Maryinka in Donetsk region, new ATO forces have been sent to back up the Ukrainian troops, the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Center) reported on its Twitter page.

"Our reserves have departed to reinforce us. They're halfway already. Even more reinforcement," the tweet reads.

According to the Ukrainian military, the ATO forces continue to maintain their positions, and morale remains high.

"All the soldiers are on their duties! The positions are being maintained! The reinforcement is on the way. They have neither retreated nor betrayed anybody. The morale is high," the tweet reads.
