Russia's hybrid military forces on Sunday, February 23, mounted 14 attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire 14 times on February 23," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on February 24, 2020.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars. They also used cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, UAVs, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and rifles.

Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the town of Popasna, and the villages of Talakivka, Travneve, Krymske, Orikhove, Novo-Oleksandrivka, Khutir Vilny, Zolote-4, Novozvanivka, Luhanske, and Kindrashivska Nova.

No Ukrainian army casualties were reported in the past day.

The enemy did not attack Ukrainian positions from 00:00 to 07:00 Kyiv time on February 24.
