Russia's hybrid military forces on Monday, February 24, mounted five attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.

"The armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire five times on February 24," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on February 25, 2020.

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and rifles.

Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the town of Maryinka, and the villages of Pisky, Talakivka, Novotoshkivske, and Shumy.

"Since Tuesday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions near Talakivka, using an 82mm mortar," the update said.

No Ukrainian army casualties were reported on Tuesday morning.
