Ukraine reports five enemy attacks in Donbas on Feb 25
Russia's hybrid military forces on Tuesday, February 25, mounted five attacks on Ukrainian positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"The armed forces of the Russian Federation violated the ceasefire five times on February 25," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation said in a Facebook update as of 07:00 Kyiv time on February 26, 2020.
The enemy opened fire from proscribed 120mm and 82mm mortars, grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and rifles.
Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the town of Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Talakivka, Pisky, Novomykhailivka, and Katerynivka.
"Since Wednesday midnight, Russia-led forces have attacked Ukrainian positions near the town of Maryinka, using a 120mm mortar," the update said.
No Ukrainian army casualties were reported on Wednesday morning.
