Russia's hybrid military forces on February 26 mounted 10 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine, with two Ukrainian soldiers reported as wounded and another one as killed in a booby-trap blast.

"The Russian Federation's armed forces violated the ceasefire 10 times on February 26," the press center of the Joint Forces Operation Headquarters said on Facebook in a morning update on February 27. "One member of the Joint Forces was killed in a blast of an explosive device of unknown origin. Also, one Ukrainian defender was wounded amid enemy shelling and the other one sustained combat-related injuries."

The enemy opened fire from proscribed 120mm mortars, as well as grenade launchers of various types, heavy machine guns, and small arms.

Under attack were Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka and Avdiyivka, and the villages of Pavlopil, Orikhove, Zolote-4, Novotoshkivske, and Luhanske.

The enemy did not attack Ukrainian positions from 00:00 to 07:00 Kyiv time on February 27.
